BERGHOF HOUSE RULES

Dear guests,

we warmly welcome you to our Berghof and look forward to your stay!
That you and our future guests can feel comfortable with us, we ask you to adhere to the following rules and thank you for your understanding.

  1. GENERAL GUIDELINES
    • These house rules are linked to the rental agreement and compliance with the house rules is also a prerequisite for the rental agreement. Failure to comply with these house rules can have consequences such as a deduction of the rental deposit.
    • All guests must follow these house rules and other instructions from the landlord or the Wiesbeck family.
    • Guests are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children at all times.
  2. VOLUME AND VISITORS
    • We ask guests and their visitors to behave quietly and not to cause loud noise, especially at night between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. and when arriving and departing.
    • Excessive noise is prohibited at any time of day or night and may, in extreme situations, result in the termination of the holiday apartment rental contract, the need to vacate the apartment and, where appropriate, additional costs which will be deducted from the security deposit.
    • We ask our guests and their visitors to treat residents, riding stable visitors and neighbors with respect.
    • Additional overnight guests must be announced in advance (during booking) and accepted by the landlord. Additional costs may apply.
    • Parties, events and other gatherings are not permitted in this holiday home.
  3. SMOKE
    • Smoking is NOT allowed in the holiday home; we therefore ask you to smoke outside.
    • Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (e.g. in the black garbage can in front of the house) and must not be thrown on the property.
  4. WASTE SEPARATION
    • Please dispose of waste in accordance with local regulations for waste separation (below) and in the containers provided.
    • The following guidelines for waste separation must be observed in the holiday home:
      • Please put paper and cardboard in the green bin
      • Please put organic/compost waste in the brown bin, please do not throw biodegradable plastic bags in the brown bin, as we always get a fine from the garbage collectors
      • The following items belong in the yellow bin: films, plastic packaging, tetra packs and cans for food and drinks.
      • Everything else is residual waste and should be placed in the black waste bin
      • Please dispose of glass yourself in the containers that we show you
    • Do not throw food scraps or oil down the drain. There is no kitchen waste grinder in Germany, which means that leftover food constantly causes blockages in the drain. Please dispose of food scraps in the residual waste.
  5. KITCHEN, BATHROOM AND SAFETY
    • Each time you leave the holiday home, it is your responsibility to ensure that all windows and doors are closed to ensure safety and to prevent rain and water damage.
    • Please turn off lights, fans and electronic devices such as televisions when not in use to save energy.
    • When using a gas stove, please make sure that the gas is always turned off after use.
    • Please be careful of the natural stone floor in the kitchen and hallway, as it absorbs pretty much everything, especially acid (fruit juice, alcohol, chewing gum) and dirt, and may only be able to be restored to its original condition with great effort or not at all.
    • Please do not expose the wooden floors in the rooms and the washbasin boards in the bathrooms to large amounts of water (only wipe with a damp cloth) and avoid waterlogging, as this will damage them and they will have to be replaced at your expense. Please dry the washbasin area with a towel after use.
    • Please do not enter the premises wearing street shoes as the dirt will scratch the wooden floors.
    • Please be careful with the horses so that they don’t get frightened by you (e.g. by moving quickly, moving quickly, etc.) and run away, as this can cause serious damage. THANK YOU! Please don’t feed them.
    • Please pay attention to sparks when grilling and always be present to prevent a fire.
  6. VALUABLES
    • The landlord / manager is not liable for valuables or wardrobe items.
  7. SAUNA AND POOL
    • For safety reasons, it is not permitted to use glasses in or around the swimming pond in the garden and in the sauna in the basement.
    • While using the swimming pond in the garden and the sauna, children must be supervised by their parents at all times.
    • Please turn off the sauna when not in use to save energy. Please always place towels under all skin surfaces (including feet and head). Please note the notice regarding sauna use.
